Hello,

we have placed an overview + a number of resources for "doing this on your
own" about a Gumstix based SIP VoIP client at
 	http://www.iptel-now.de/PROJECTS/LINPHONESTIX/linphonestix.html

The intention behind this project is to provide a wireless,
standard-conform and thus interoperable "Startrek communicator like"
communication device based on standard OTS components.

The device incorporates the linphone SIP user agent and makes uses of the
Gumstix Linux environment. Credits and thanks go to the people there.
Also - a big thanks to Frank Leipold who did most of the work so far and
also prepared the HTML page.

More info to be added soon.

best regards
  Ralf
