Are all the specs out on the eye bud yet? All I can gather is that it is 800X600 and plugs into a video jack

In what way?  

The DG2 uses and LCOS while the Eyebud uses an OLED.
The FOVs are different - Eyebud being larger.
Fit is similar but different enough to notice the differences.
You can buy the DG2 now. You can't buy the Eyebud yet(late summer earliest).
List on the DG2 is $2,399. Anticipated List on the Eyebud <$599.
