Neuros, makers of the MPEG-4 Recorder II previously discussed for use in recording one's entire day, has an initial run of development boards for their next-generation products available for sale to the public, to help spur developer and homebrew interest. You can find specs here: http://www.theneuros.com/index.php/DM320_Platform_developer_board_spec A reasonable photo of the board is here: http://open.neurostechnology.com/files/PICT1461.JPG Yes, it's big, but it's also a prototype board to test functionality. A real board would be much, much smaller. It's a 200MHz ARM 926 with a 120MHz TI DSP, supporting up to 128MB RAM, USB 2.0 host, USB 2.0 client, SD/MMC, CF, RS-232, IDE, 10/100 NIC, Infrared, video input and output, 24-bit analog audio input and output, SPDIF output, and buttons. It also supports D1 resolution MPEG-4 video encoding in hardware. Boards are $150 US, available here: https://www.americantechpushers.com/echopay/dboard.php Thanks, Vitorio Miliano _______________________________________________ Wear-Hard mailing listhttp://www.haven.org/mailman/listinfo/wear-hard
