At Georgia Tech, we've been using two systems. One is the OQO Model 01+ (http://oqo.com), which, astoundingly, just works (avoid the 01, as it's got some issues)! We're also using the Intel Stargate/Platform X (http://platx.sf.net) with a CF VGA card. It's limited in terms of I/O, but boy does it get good battery life - 18+ hours on a 45 watt-hour battery! We've also been looking at gumstix (http://gumstix.com), but it doesn't have enough I/O to work; it's got bluetooth but no USB host, and not enough CF slots are available to fix that *and* have VGA and storage. dan On 4/20/06, Freeman Pascal <> wrote: > I have caught the bug again and I want to get my wearable working > again.
