Hi Tom, Nothing pops out in my mind. Most of the talk I've seen of late has been more around convergence of cell-phone and multimedia player technology. Thad may have some insight into more current commercial ventures through his IEEE Pervasive Computing activities. In the case of that gumstix pack the robostix has headers, so any soldering to be done is at the custom-wiring level, not the custom-board level. The pieces are all off-the-shelf; the wiring isn't but that makes it easier to keep the implementation more compact. Anyone else have some ideas? Andrew. Thus spake Tom Longson (nym): > I think anything that involves soldering is most definately not off the > shelf.
