If you are interested in input only, then the win2vnc concept may
speed things up since it handles keyboard and mouse only and no RFB. I
haven't looked, but I doubt that there is a palm2vnc or wm2vnc program
out there. But there code is available.

I'm used to thumb typing on an HP 200lx, so I'd rather have a keyboard
a little smaller than the 200lx as input rather than a stylus device
(like on the PPC-6700), but there are probably a lot more people used
to palm's than 200lx's ;-)

I have a WristPDA (Fossil/Abacus au5005), which I currently only use
to tell time ;-) But I think I remember someone running a VNC client
on it over the IR port. So I had thought I might try to get a fibre
optic bundle that would go from the watch to a belt warn computer.
Then I could use my wristwatch to control the computer on my belt and
not have to carry an HMD or twiddler. Of course I'd have less
functionaility, but I'd also have less to carry. Unfortunately I have
no time to invest in trying to figure out all the steps necessary to
do that, hardware or software.
