I am aware of companies that will customize, translate to English and
import Japanese versions. But as far as I know, the 280p is the first
to get 1GB, and it will be sold in the US. Is it also sold outside the
US?

They now show the 280p, with 1GB RAM, but that's the only 1GB model.
They have a little american flag next to it, and a Japanese flag next
to most of the other models. So I still don't know if the 180p and
280p were/are marketed by Sony outside the US.

Those clamshells and tablets are about twice as heavy as the UX's.

Don't see a 1GB UX on Conics at all. Too new, I guess.

Thank you for all the links,

Craig
