Lillypad is an arduino-compatible development platform made specifically for
wearable and clothing-based electronics. There is a microcontroller board
and ther are several sensor and power boards available. Each board is
circular and designed to be sewn into clothing easily. The boards have very
large pads for those developers who wish to use conductive thread or fiber
sewn into the garment.

Cheap, sturdy, and kinda cute with a large developer community. I do
believe we're seeing a gadgetty endrun on wearable computing.
