The 2.5" 'laptop harddrive', 1.8" 'whats this for?' hard drive, and a 0.85" hard drive. The smaller drives use Perpendicular Magnetic Recording. I suppose it wouldn't be impossible to wire the drive to a regular IDE controller, but that's a lot of miniscule work for my non-surgeon hands. I got a PS/2 -> USB converter, and the BIOS supports USB HID so I was able to get into the BIOS and allow booting from from Compact Flash drive, so I have a plan of attack : ). I've got myself one of the Kopin 300M displays and am looking for a scan converter. I have no plan for a chording keyboard yet, though desperately want one. I've never actually been so close to wearable before! ------=_Part_10059_937148.1192904546907 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline There are three harddrive sizes I know of smaller than your usual
desktop hard drive.
