Sony UX280P Working Beautify as a wearable

Hi Folks,

Well, it's been many a year since I posted to this list, but as I have
changed direction a bit, I thought I had something to offer.

It seams like the times may be catching up as I am currently using a
rig made of entirely COTS electronics (I still made the textiles but I
have not touched a soldering iron).

Sony UX280P running Xubuntu and laptop-mode with fonix software
dectalk

I turn off the onboard display, but before I did stylus was
detected but lost it after suspend/resume. As I don't expect
to use it, I did not look into this issue

Wireless works beautify right out of the box. In fact I have
not even tried the wired ethernet connection.

suspend/resume works out of the box but I don't use that much
as I want it on all the time, but it's nice to know it works
	reliably

Microoptical CV-? (4bit color) I've had this for quite a few years, it
has a peice of shrink wrap over the entire length of the cable
which I think accounts for its long life.

Twiddler2 with usb adapter <- just untill I have time to rewrite my
keyboard driver for a 2.6 kernel, any volunteers?

60W/hr universal battery from batterygeeks

Plantronics earpice/microphone with adapter for 1/8" plugs. Hooks
under the ear, which is nice as it does not interfere with my
	glasses.

Up and running for 2 weeks. So far so good. Once I make the bag
(still using an older one from the last "herbert") I will post
pictures and more detail, but I thought folks might like to know it
does work well.

-Greg
