Not in a million years. However Steve Mann did something like it years ago. It's discussed in both his book (title began like "Cyborg: ..." I can't remember the rest of it.) and on the documentary that the CBC made of him called "Cyberman". He called the concept "Mediated Reality" and he used it primarily to remove unwanted advertising. I expect the above technology will be used primarily to ADD unwanted advertising. There's no doubt however that the power of a system used by only one man would be overwhelmed by the power of a system used by everyone. I don't think the problem itself is all that hard to implement the second time around, as he published the software and theory that does the tricky bit.
