I see a lot of GPL in the description. I assume this is to keep the design and software components "free". This can be done through the proper trademark of whatever name you select as a "Certification Mark", as long as you specify that the object has to be freely distributable in order to get the mark. This leaves you the ability to handle multiple different types of licenses without tying it to just one. I like the concept of "wearable computers" because they are always there. Notebooks were there more than my desktop, PDAs more than my notebook....but still not enough. All of these you have to "turn on", and some you have to "boot". I also like wearables because they are always "connected", and connect me, to the web. I would like wearables to be unobtrusive, omni-present, an extension of my senses, and (through the Internet) an extension of my mind. They are a direct connection from the Internet to my conciousness. I guess I like "OmniPresent", kind of a cross between "Omnipresence" (of being everywhere) and the "present" (as in here and now....not somewhere else, and not way in the future). As an extra added attraction, there are only four documents that AltaVista could find that matches "OmniPresent", and none of them seem to relate to a product called "OmniPresent". My two cents. md -- ============================================================================= Jon "maddog" Hall Internet:Senior Leader, UNIX Software Group Executive Director, Linux International Digital Equipment Corporation Linux International Mailstop ZK03-2/U15 80 Amherst St. 110 Spit Brook Rd.
