I use rsynth and am quite happy with it's output when I use it with the
phnome dictionary.
Some people hate how it sounds, I think it is great considering it's cost
and that it doesn't require any special expensive hardware.
I have been trying to use the ears package for linux, but I havent been able
to compile it yet, I'm still cleaning up the code to make it compile with
current libs instead of old out-dated ones.
