Jump's 586 comes in several different flavors. Two they'll tell you about, and one they won't. The first (older) has normal SIMMS that stand upright on the board. I haven't used this. The second uses a DIMM in a horizontal socket. This is 1997 vintage, first revision. The third revision did something odd. For some reason the board will not work with the old Private Eye driver board. Suspect IRQ or BIOS conflict. Unsolved. WARNINGS: Be sure to put the DIMM RAM in the bottom slot. Putting the RAM in the top slot (for flash memory) will kill the board. The instructions for the board, well, aren't. Basically a pin-out and its all in German! The cable set they sell is horrible. Buy Ampro's cable set for the 4DXI board instead. Actually, you should really buy Ampro's 133MHz 486 instead of Jump's. Easier to work with. Finally, there are 2 BIOS setups 1st gotten by pressing del or cntrl alt esc on boot. The second by pressing alt f1 when it says OK. In general, I'm not impressed by Jump except for the IRDA port.
