The board has been on their site "under development" since Feb. Last time I
checked they did not have a firm release date. (I talked to the USA sales
office though, maybe its out in Europe...) Its a nice design from what I've
seen. When I sent mail before I did not get a firm answer to my question of
supporting . The docs (which they quoted in their reply) make
it clear it can do 30fps, but that might be at 320x240 and the rate might go
down when its larger... (They answered my mail, just I never followed up on
the insufficient details in their reply.) It is also not clear they can do
15 bit color (though the chipset supports it, their docs say 256 colors....).
The capture is based on CirrusLogic's 65555 chipsets (used in a number of
laptops, so there is more a potential for linux/FreeBSD drivers, however I
don't know of anyone working on them...). Since they were not close to
shipping and have no near-term linux support I went ahead and
bought/assembled my current system. My current image processing system has a
3 board stack Parvus ScreamN104+, VersiLogic SVGA and a BTB848 based PC104+
capture card. This would reduce my system to a single board but will have to
wait until I bite the bullet and rewrite my apps in windoze; should be a fun
summer :-()

Still if anyone has gotten more details on the capture side of this card, or
has physical units let us hear about it.
