I like the Redhat distribution, but I have had little experience with the other distributions so I have no basis for prefering Redhat, but I've had few complaints. > And does anyone know if I can have LINUX running on my P-150 with > my current config of DOS 6, WIN95, and WIN3.1 OS's also installed on my > personal system? It should be doable. You just need to create a 500MB partition (you can get by with less, but for VR stuff I can't imagine fitting it in under 100M. Caveat: I believe you need a primary partition to install linux. If each of your os's is using a primary partition, you should have room for one more (IOW: you have three primary partitions and an ide disk can have up to 4). There are several options for booting linux, so that shouldn't be a problem for you (i.e. loadlin.exe to boot linux from dos/win, lilo, whatever boot manager you are using). > I'm using a multiboot choice menu. Which one is it? is it the IBM os/2 boot manager? or System commander? Because I believe these two boot managers require their own primary partition so you may be using 4/4 primary partitions and wont have space to install it. Good luck if you try it. -Paul -- R.
