I've used the Albatech display.....actually have it as made by "Densitron." Driven via NTSC or PAL video currently. I actually like the design. The display is positioned well - you can see your feet when looking down and forward when looking straight forward easily. Power is relatively low - they claim 2.7W, I think its actually lower. The 2-eyedness is a bit annoying...I'd rather have the greater image intensity (or less power in the backlight) and get rid of one of the mirrors. Text was OK but not great (I should have counted columns, but forgot), but NTSC is not really a good way to test it. The VGA converter is coming out sometime soon (of course :-).
