The volume has been very low, partly due to its newness, and partly due
to the fact that the newsgroup has been propogating very slowly through
isps. Why I have not idea.

Dejanews has been carrying the group since the first day and has
archives going back pretty far.  There's also an archive at
http://wearables.ml.org/.
