Not to beat this to death, but I have a Toshiba MK3003 2.5in HD and It only takes a firm tap to screw up a kernel compilation, or interrupt a login. I imagine sub 100G forces may not "hurt" the HD, but they have the potential to interrupt disk read/writes and cause things to fail. Maybe I just have a sensative drive. :) -Paul -- R.
