1st I too am interested in the hack, see below. 2nd, I have had the M1 for 24 hours. I can already tell you that it does stick out to far. The problem is that because it is out so far the over-head band (like headphones) does not give the support to keep the display perfectly steady. What I did was slide the whole thing back a little. Then I bring the left side (right if you use it over your left eye) back even more. Now the "arm" is very close to my head. Just above my eyebrow the "arm" rest against my skin. It does not bother me. The result of all this is the display is very close to my eye, peripheral vision is good, and the display is very stable. I do doubt that I could read while jogging with this setup. I like it too, and I'm considering it, but I've got two questions here: 1. Is the "glasses hack" going to be on the MIT site anytime soon? 2. The display seems to stick out pretty far, isn't that disastrous to peripheral vision? If so, is there any way to modify it to look more like the private eye? -- Greg Pfeil -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" to
