I was merely stating that the one thing of Linux installation that has
real complexity (and hence difficulty) is X Windows, and that is one
part
that several of the designs for wearables plan to not use - because of
the
font size/clarity issues for their displays.

AFAIK, there is not reason NOT to use X, assuming it displays well
enough
for your purposes.
