Coming along nicely, though... True CGA uses a 6845 CRTC, which (I believe...) can generate NTSC. Unfortunately, my only documentation provides only a rather vague pinout and IBM i/o addresses. In any case, if this is a laptop, it probably doesn't use a 6845... LCD displays are more complicated. I have a 286 laptop (some fancy Zenith affair with shot power supply and almost tolerable documentation) that uses a V6355. THAT I do have a better pinout for. Which 286 laptop do you have?
