dunno how complex your bot will be, but I just completed a project I did
with a friend of mine of remote controlled (telnet) camera.
I control the servo motor (1 for now, I expect to add some more later) 
directly from serial port. U can control up to 3 servo motors this way (per
serial port). Not efficient but very fast to build/test (I did this part
of the project in about 2 hours). U'll find informations on

No information on the wireless modem part (been looking for a long time
myself for a cheap pair of wireless modems)
