Regarding the 6GT, says Peter Coffee writing for PC Week (March 9, 1998 v15 n10 p56), "By my calculations, this means that one of these drives could fall off a four-drawer file cabinet onto a carpeted office floor, while running, without complaint." By way of comparison, flash is supposed to be able to take an 8 foot drop onto concrete. So the moral of the story is: When you and your friends are playing catch with your wearables while walking down the sidewalk, be VERY CAREFUL not to drop the ones with rotating media. ;) -Chris -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.ml.org
