back in the '80s i used to walk around some pretty bad areas, railyards,
bayfronts, at midnight, etc. (i shot a lot of pictures in the "urban blight"
style), and then of course i really looked like a cyborg
(as in http://wearcam.org/steve80.jpg).

i found that people went across to the other side of the street to avoid
me, e.g. even groups of rough looking thugs often seemed as afraid of me
as i was of them.

your rig might be worth some money, but it might also buy them a trip to
jail (e.g. shoot first, present the images later).
