cost will highly depend on how many are manufactured.  it is likely
that the first run will not be sold, but, rather, will be loaned out
to prospective users who will give maximum useful feedback toward the
manufacture of a much larger run.  the target price of the larger run
will be quite low, since the goal is to produce a consumer electronics
item rather than a military or other special purpose "smart uniform".
