The form factor at 4"x 5.5" won't be much larger than a PC/104 card, but it includes an extra serial port, a USB port, a PC/104 bus and an AMD ethernet controller in addition to all of the standard CardPC hookups. According the rep who attended the ISWC, it is supposed to be released later this month at a price tag of $399 in developer quantities. So far, the Cell Computing folks have been very cool to work with. The web site lists it as a Pentium class SBC, but in reality, it will run any of the CardPC series. I do plan on purchasing one to play with once they become available, so I will post more then. On a totally separate note, I am working on the final hookups to the MicroDisplay developer kit I brought to the 98ISWC. I will be posting a full photo shoot of my design shortly on the wearables.ml.org website for those interested in a semi-cheap 640x480 greyscale VGA monocle system (read barely under $1250). --Friar -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.ml.org
