isn't there more to it than that? Mainly turning on and off the power and control lines? I can hook up a hard drive (IDE) while the computer is running, but I wouldn't guarantee it or anything else in the machine would work after that, as well as the BIOS wouldn't see it if it is plugged in after bootup. One should boot with the floppy attached, then put to sleep to remove/attach. Are there any drivers for the PacRim floppy? Linux that is? or LS120 external?
