Heck, I just pulled my dead Tomagotchi out of my parts tray, and started
disassembling it..... (tells you what kind of a virtual pet owner I am,
huh?)

No, but... My Toma's display is a 16 x 27 display (432 pixels).. which
should be enough for a simple display IMHO.

This is where I would need help. Isnt there a special trick to driving
LCDs? Are they polarized like LED displays? What about operating voltages,
etc..?
