Hey, I found a few things out...now that I've managed to disassemble
the first one.
1) The display is not a discrete component, but is an integral part
of the single circuit board. This may or may not be a big deal.
2) The display seems to be a simple dot matrix display. It shouldn't
be too hard to hack some type of display system.
3) The display is transparent, with a reflective piece of cardboard
behind it. Should be simple to integate it into a nice "eyeglass"
type display.
4) The spacing of the contacts on the board is sufficient, that I
can probably homebrew some type of board, that would give me access
to the pins. i.e. I think I can make it work.
