The how about the PPC 603/604/740/750 Chips? Very low power consumption I've been told, like 80% less than a *mobile* PII. How about about PC/104 form factor G3 system with PCI architecture running PPC Linux or Yellow dog?

Sorta like the 512k onboard wiht the PPro. I think the hardest part woudl be lowereing the power consumption of the '040-'060 series. They do requie Heatsinks, even at the 33mhz level. I guess it's time to start petitioning Motorolla :)

The thing to remember, however, is that these are *extremely* low speed processors; 4mh for the HP95LX and 16mhz for the Pilot. Now, if you could make an '040 compatible Dragonball, that would kick some serious llama
