On Scientific American Frontiers, I remember Allen Alda talking about some kind of new technology or
some such that is *truly* speaker independent.  Anyone hear anything lately on this?

What flames? :)  I'm just glad that there's hope for all of us yet!  What can i say, I'm an
antagonist; glass  half empty and all that.

Right..  Its not considered rude to to look someone the face whilst they're talking to you... In
fact, I think its preferred.
