I've actually tried this test by placing several different types of keyboard under my clothing. The best configuration is wear a t-shirt that has been modified with a velcro patch to attach the "keypad" to. Then wear another shirt over this that is about the same thickness as a t-shirt. (actually Silk shirts work best!). The real key is the "keys"! :-) I have found that the most readily identifiable keys to press "blindly" are the ones and type found on a typical Universal TV remove...you know the kind with raised rubber buttons with raised symbols for various functions. How many of you look at the remote when you surf your TV or VCR? This idea seems very feasiable and very very unobtrusive. To make it most comfortable you need "thin" keypads. I think no more than 1/2" edge to edge. Whereas most mini-programable keypads are about 3/4" to 1" thick! Any ideas?
