Re: Hardware Speech Systhesis

If you has 16 (I/)O lines, or two parallel ports, could you do 16 bit
sound off of it? I have an 8bit paralle->sound thing on my shelf, never
had anything to run it, don't even remember where I got it, but it is a
simple, commonly knowon design, just wondering.

I think I have a voice synthesis board for an apple ][+ round here
somewhere.
