I'm pretty sure it's a reflective color LCD; they're pretty new. Sharp has
one in their recent Color Zaurus (specifically a reflective active-matrix
display), but I've only seen photos (it's only available in Japan...). From
what I've heard the only problem is the low contrast (not sure if the
Gameboy's LCD has the same problem, though).
