Ok, more useless stuff (just thought I'd share): The 'ol Anniversary is coming up, so a friend of mine and I are planning the ultimate present-type piece of clothing for poor Debbie, who will feel obligated to wear it. >:) We're taking a black dress and running a strip of silver cloth down around it several times in a spiral. Attached to this strip will be a long line of SMD LEDs. There will also be a Vcc and GND line running straight down each side (for the voltage followers, a little group (SMD) of them at each intersection of Vcc+GND and SilverStrip. This whole shebang will be attached to the wearable, so the LEDs can chase, flash, be programed (perhaps remotely in the future), etc. Think: LEDs chasing in time with music. Very nice for trips to the Nyabinghi (my favorite bar). I have a feeling that this is one of those projects I'll never finish. Lots of work... Ugh. I'm thinking about doing something similar (just to make sure it can be done first) to my Large Hat. Comments? Have any of you done anything like this? Should I apply for a patent (as in the Xybernaut situation)? >:P -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.ml.org
