Still catching up on mail so someone may have already suggested this, 
but:  Check out Go America at www.goamerica.com.  They sell wireless 
hardware and unlimited connectivity plans with roughly nationwide access.

Some looked reasonable.  This may be what I go with for my wearable.  
Love the Ricochet, but often not in ricochet land.
