That's not quite true.  I was checking into cdpd before, and there are a lot
of blank spots in coverage on the east coast, probably the most extreme
example being the state of Georgia, where Bellsouth has implemented thier
own non-CDPD/non-TCP/IP Bellsouth Wireless Data Network.
