Havent been to a major hamfest have you :-)
I saw many "porcupines" walking about. along with one guy that had a
cubical quad antenna array for 440Mhz on his head while another had a 5
foot copper wire tower replica with a rubber duck antenna on top.
Ham radio operators, espically the "lunatic fringe" as I like to call them
enjoy radiating from all sides and directions. It's a wierd culture that
wearable computers would be welcomed as a conservative idea.
