The PC/104 calls for an ISA bus, so it tends to be implemented using
Intel processors.

However, there is one company that makes a Motorola embedded processor
PC/104 form factor computer for about $500. Their web address is
www.rpcgllc.com/ This is based on a PowerPC embedded processor, but is
about 60 mips rather than the 200 mips of a current generation PowerPC.
(But it has lots of communications stuff embedded into it.)

If you do find someone making a PowerPC based board in a PC/104 or
smaller form factor, please let us know. I for one would be very
interested in buying many of such a device.

Worried about Y2K? You should have bought a Macintosh.
(It also costs less, is twice as fast, and makes you more productive.)
