..while swinging from a vine in a loincloth with a cutlass between your teeth? Great theme for a new PC game. nah, got to be a banyan vine, better yet would be a 10 baseT cable, the cutlass could be an old memory card (remember those full height fully loaded things), 3.5 inch disks make great shrukens (edges sharpened of course), now there's a game for computer hackers... Gotto go battle against the Financial Comptroller to get your PC upgraded, or work your way to the Microsoft Refund Facility.. I'm geting out of hand here aren't I? Off Topic - Any wearable's make it to Linux World, I was there Mon and Tues but didn't see any (on attendeees or in the booths), but I found out later Empeg was hidden in the back of the Debian booth showing off their latest Car computer, full linux system, email, could probably hack SQL while waiting in traffic on this... I did get a Live Free or Die LINUX license plate from Compaq though.. Except for empeg, (which I didn't see), all the machines there were huge desk hogging power beasts (i.e. Linux running on an 16 processer Ultra-Sparc-20). VA Research wants $1300 for their cheapest workstation without a monitor, should give you an idea of the target of this conference, I didn't feel like I had missed anything when I left after being on the floor for two hours (except I did miss the empeg) > -----Original Message----- > From: Vaughan Pratt [SMTP:] > Sent: Wednesday, March 03, 1999 11:23 PM > To:
