I think you misunderstand, linux APM understands this perfectly. But to come out of a suspended state the CPU needs to be "woke-up" differntly than a standard power up. That is where my problems are. Or do you mean an entirely linux solution - not using bios apm - where the linux kernel writes its state out and then knows to restore it on reboot? That would be nice. Greg -- Greg Priest-Dorman
