self powered (wind-up + solar) radio is good for parts?

I think windup (spring/flywheel) power is the coolest idea.

I lack any sort of EE background to know if the power produced can make
it reasonable for wearable applications. I also lack the time and
probably the skills to make my own.

Hence I am asking opinions if the radio below is worth getting to hack
the power generation bits from?

I wonder if this produces very much power at all, the description says
it can run off of solar completely in direct sunlight.

from Onsale $69 (expensive IMO)

  Product Information
    BayGen FreePlay Self Powered/Solar
Powered AM/FM Radio, No Batteries or
            AC Power Required
  Manufacturer's Model #:FPR2S/C

The power plant is a unique mechanism that
captures your own human energy as you turn the winding handle. This
energy is then stored and released as
electrical energy, powering the radio and delivering top volume and
sound performance. Just 30 seconds of
winding (60 winds) lets you enjoy free listening for up to an hour
