So do it, publish the procedure, and show it at the gadget show at
ISWC already!  :-) 

Seriously, if you do, the hardest thing will be ruggedizing it for
everyday use.  You bang your arm around a lot more than you'd think.
I'd use several NP-F330's or 550's (the small Sonys) tiled around the
arm, BTW.
