I agree..  I can run X with huge fonts and I get my work done.. I knew this
before I bought mine because I asked here, and was told that it is a nice
entry level HMD and is very functional while being the only thing out there
that is reasonably priced, but dont expect 640x480 capabilities. I love my
m-1, I use it with my camcorder on the end of a 10 foot pole for shooting
above a crowd, on my steadycam for excellent chase video, and other artsy
filming, It's great for my wearable too, double duty device :-)  Just dont
expect vga,ega,or even cga out of it... it does 40 column by 15 rows clearly
and that is the limit. anything past that is fuzzy and makes your head hurt
after a long time.

I still say get a M-1 if you cant afford to drop $3-4K on a hmd.
