The BT848 uses DMA to write the image directly into the graphics card.
I think (can;t quite remember) that ATI will not release the hardware
specs for their graphics cards to the linux comunity, therefore it is
not possible to use an ATI card and a BT848 card under linux.. I am not
sure about doze...
