Oh yeah, cheap is the way to go when you're a broke student :) Anyway, I'm trying to steer away from VGA->NTSC conversion. The LCD takes its own strange input protocol, so I'd probably have to build two circuits to convert VGA or NTSC to its format. That's why I want to figure out the protocols for both.
