How can these be mounted?
Could they just be mounted directly on to a pair of glasses, or would they
need to go through optics to stop you going mad through focussing effort?
Assuming that they are transparent when 'white', since they are passing all
the light from the backlighting, could they be used for augmented displays?
Assuming all of the above, a pair of special flipdowns with backlighting
'lenses' be used for non augmented purposes. Presumably at this size, the
amount of light needed for the backlighting would be small, to stop you
being blinded/glared. With small enough CCDs mounted on the front, these
could be used for getting exactly the photo you want.
