Timex Sinclair 1000, or T-S 1000. It was the collective name of the
ZX80 and ZX81...but come to think of it, I'm not positive the ZX80
was ever sold commonly in the states.
(I have both in my collection)
About the plastic "edge" connectors, we might check around for broken
keyboards. The new "membrane" technology keyboards use a plastic
membrane system...same kind of connector, but not sure about scale.
