Depending on how much we try to do, a simple HP palmtop(XT/AT) 
could handle this level of processing.  Especially if some of the 
processing was offloaded to the various peripherals (similar to the way
that a postscript printer does its own processing) and the main 
wearcomp would just "coordinate" the effort.

Why would you want to stop this type of behaviour?  :-)  That would
be half the fun of the game!!!
